Spring

Finally it looks like spring is here. Have you ever wondered what happens if you don't eat all your broccoli? It turns into these beautiful yellow flowers and then the bees eat it instead :-)

Here is Ali and the chicken she is taking for calf-club day at school.

Aren't they beautiful when they are asleep! Lily is practicing being an angel.

Windy Sunday

Well the wind is here again but that didn't stop us heading into town for the kids to enjoy the new council park. It was Ali's idea to go there, right after "let's go to the shops and buy lots of sweets!". Ali managed to climb high (for her) up on a giant spider web thingy while Lily enjoyed being propelled in circles , clinging to a pole! Karen went shopping on Saturday Sans Kids and Phil played Golf on Sunday, just so the grown-ups could keep their sanity. The "Eggulator" shown in the photo is Ali's effort for "choosing day" at school on Friday. She can't wait to put in some eggs and watch until they hatch!

Wallowing in Winter

As per usual winter has been a bit dismal and drizzly with all that depressing rain and not much work for Phil. We did a flyer drop on a fine day last week and at least one indoor job has come from it so that is good news. After walking from one end of One Tree Point to the other and posting all the fliers we decided to have a bit of a play on the beach before coming home. That is when we took these shots, Lily was certainly fearless on the swing screaming with delight and trying to kick Dad in the head with every swing :-)

This weekend just past we picked up some poplar poles and we planted them on Sunday. Yay for sunshine! Then it was Pauline's baby shower for Mum and the kids while Dad played golf.
