After a sleepless night on the train we arrived in Rome not sure what to expect. But it only took 3 mins from the train station to decide we love it here. The sun was shining, the streets are gorgeous (all narrow with cobblestones), lovely wee churches in every square, the people are so friendly and our room is just perfect. We had a shower and a few coffees then ventured out and went for an aimless 5 minute wander before we noticed the Colloseum at the end of the street - how magic is that?!?
Tonight we had delicious pizza as we walked along the cobbled street until a rain shower forced us back to our room and tiredness called us to bed.
The internet is quicker here so I have uploaded the photos from the Eiffel Tower and over the coming days I'll load some more.
